ABOUT BILL
Bill Hardwick was born in Rolla, Missouri. He graduated from Dixon High School and attended the University of Missouri in Columbia where he earned his bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri School of Law. He worked as a state and federal prosecutor. Bill has served 24 years in the U.S. Army and Missouri National Guard. He attended officer candidate school and Engineer Officer Basic Course and the Captain’s Career Course at the U.S. Army Engineer School at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. He was deployed to Iraq where led patrols in close combat and counter IED missions. He has been assigned as a platoon leader, plans officer, company commander, and battalion commander. He graduated with honors from the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

INDIVIDUAL LIBERTY
In the Missouri Senate, I will defend our individual freedoms and liberties. No COVID lockdowns. No vaccine mandates. Parents should raise their children. Little by little each year the government takes more control of our lives, and we cannot allow it to continue.
PRIVATE PROPERTY RIGHTS
Your land and home belong to you, not the government. You should have the right to defend your home and property. I am completely opposed to eminent domain and will fight tooth and nail to protect the people from corporations looking to take advantage of everyday Missourians.
EDUCATION
I want every child in Missouri to have the best education possible. Teachers should be able to teach instead of filling out endless paperwork mandated by bureaucrats and local school boards should matter.
BALANCE THE BUDGET
We have to spend less than we take in as a state. Our legislators must be good stewards of the taxpayers money, not funders of pet projects.
SECOND AMENDMENT
I am a constitutional conservative who believes in limiting the power of the government, not limiting the freedom of law-abiding citizens. I was the sponsor of the Second Amendment Preservation Act and support Constitutional Carry and Stand Your Ground Laws. When I am in the Senate, any red flag laws are dead on arrival. I am and will continue to be an ardent defender of your Second Amendment rights.
SUPPORTING OUR VETERANS, POLICE, AND FIRST RESPONDERS
Our veterans gave everything for our country, now it’s our turn to make sure they are taken care of. Our police officers and first responders keep us safe and show up when we call at the toughest and scariest parts of our lives. They deserve support from the community and our support and respect.
END OMNIBUS BILLS
I will fight to ensure legislation only contains a single subject and is true to the original purpose as required by the Missouri Constitution. No more half-read omnibus bills that take away our freedom.
